LAHORE:

A six-year-old boy died after allegedly being administered a wrong injection at a private clinic in the Mian Colony area of Begum Kot.

According to the child's father, the boy, identified as Hashim, was taken to a nearby clinic with complaints of cough.

He said a man identified as Shahid, who was present at the pharmacy, arranged an injection and administered it to the child.

Soon after the injection, the boy's condition deteriorated, with foam reportedly coming out of his mouth, and he later died due to breathing difficulties, the family alleged.

Police said a case has been registered against the owner of the pharmacy on the complaint of the child's father.
