Woman found tortured to death

LAHORE:

The body of a 35-year-old woman bearing marks of torture was found in a house in Nishtar Colony.

According to an Edhi Foundation spokesperson, the incident took place in the Gajjumata locality, where the woman was found dead inside her home.

The deceased was identified as Nabila, hail8 g from Peshawar.

Police shifted the body to a morgue for a post-mortem examination and initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing.

Meanwhile, A 70-year-old man died after collapsing onto a road in the Hanjarwal area. According to an Edhi Foundation spokesperson, the elderly man suddenly fell while walking, suffering a severe head injury that proved fatal on the spot.
