Brooklyn Beckham absent from Romeo Beckham’s 2025 recap as family rift continues

Brooklyn Beckham was notably absent from Romeo Beckham’s Instagram recap of 2025, adding to growing public signs of a rift within the Beckham family.

On January 1, Romeo Beckham, 23, shared a year-end carousel featuring moments with his younger brother Cruz Beckham, 20, and sister Harper Beckham, 14. The post also included a photo with his mother, Victoria Beckham. Brooklyn, 26, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, did not appear in any of the images.

David’s post celebrated major milestones, including his 50th birthday and being knighted by King Charles. Several hours later, he shared older photos of Brooklyn to his Instagram Stories, writing messages expressing love for his children.

Speculation around a Beckham family feud has intensified in recent months. As of December, David, Victoria and Brooklyn no longer follow one another on Instagram. Brooklyn is also not following his brothers, nor are they following him. His wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, whom he married in 2022, is similarly disconnected from the family on social media.

Sources previously told PEOPLE that tensions within the family are real, though conflicting accounts have disputed reports linking the strain to Nicola’s wedding dress. Insiders have also said attempts to repair relationships have been challenging.

Brooklyn spent the recent holiday season with his wife and her family, further highlighting the apparent distance as the situation carries into 2026.
