School sealed for skipping holidays

The city's largest private educational institution was sealed for violating the winter vacation notification.

A citizen complained during the weekly Deputy Commissioner's Facebook open complaint session that despite the winter vacation notification, Tamir Watan Public School and Colleges is still open and children have not been dismissed for winter vacations.

He said that the school has also given a warning that anyone who takes a vacation will be fined. "Despite the notification of the district administration and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Private Schools Regulatory Authority, educational activities are continuing in this school," he added.
