NA panel briefed on GSP+ role in boosting economy

National Assembly Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Division on Tuesday noted that the European Union's Generaluzed Schemes of Preference (GSP)-Plus played a significant role for Pakistan's economic growth.
The panel also briefed that the European Union's, GSP-Plus plays a pivotal role in supporting Pakistan's sustainable economic growth by granting enhanced trade preferences aimed at promoting sustainable development and adherence to 27 international conventions on human rights, labour standards, environmental protection, and good governance.
