Four on a bike crushed by speeding truck

Four people, including two men, a woman and a child, riding on a single motorcycle were killed on the spot when a speeding trailer rammed into the bike on the National Highway near Piala Hotel, close to Sakrand.
According to eyewitnesses, the impact was so severe that the motorcycle was completely mangled, while the bodies remained lying on the road for several minutes.
Upon receiving information, motorway police and local administration reached the site. Following complaints from local residents, the bodies were shifted to the Taluka Hospital Sakrand. The victims were identified as Mumtaz Khokhar, Suhail Khokhar, Kalo Khokhar and Sharafuddin Khokhar, residents of Goth Chhachhar near Saeedabad.
Police said a search is underway to trace the trailer and its driver. Investigations are being carried out with the help of CCTV footage and other evidence.
Meanwhile, MPA Ghulam Qadir Chandio and former provincial adviser Ghulam Rasool Indhar visited Sakrand Hospital and expressed grief over the loss of lives. After completion of legal formalities, Sakrand police handed over the bodies to the heirs.
