KARACHI:

Superstar Fahad Mustafa has turned up the heat online by teasing the first glimpse of his new film 'ALBM', confirming that a proper teaser co-starring Mahira Khan will arrive on 3 January 2026.

In an 11-second Instagram clip, the pair appear in striking red masks, staring intently off camera as the frame zooms in, leaving fans guessing about the mystery plot and the tone the two beloved stars are pursuing.

Mustafa captioned the post, telling followers: "Behind the masks are faces you know... and a story you don't. Get ready for the first glimpse! Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan bring you the 'ALBM' teaser on 3 Jan 2026."

Earlier this week the actor confirmed filming had officially wrapped, noting that "months of passion, precision and storytelling were finally captured on camera" and that the countdown to wider promotion had now begun in earnest.

Comment sections quickly filled with excitement from supporters eager to see him reunite with Mahira Khan on the big screen, with many pleading for an earlier reveal and predicting the pairing will bring fresh electricity to local cinema.

For now the production remains largely under wraps, fuelling speculation across the industry while marketing remains carefully controlled and cryptic, with only the masked images and the promise of a story fans have never heard before to go on.

The project is written and directed by Bilal Altaf Khan, with comedian Tabish Hashmi understood to be playing a significant role, though the creative team has not yet disclosed character details or broader plot information beyond the evocative teaser hints.

Industry talk points to a possible Eid-ul-Azha release, although no date has been confirmed, and fans can expect a steady drip of reveals as the countdown continues towards what already looks like one of the year's most discussed Pakistani films.
