Drone camera hits Shae Gill mid-performance
Singer says she cut her hand badly but is safe

Singer Shae Gill was injured by a drone during a live performance at a carnival in Islamabad on Sunday, but reassured fans afterwards that she was safe and recovering after receiving medical treatment, including a tetanus injection.
Gill said the incident occurred when the controller of a drone camera was handed to an amateur during the event. She explained that the drone was "super fast" and flew directly towards her, cutting her hand badly during the performance.
The 'Pasoori' singer later posted an update on Instagram to confirm she was now fine and being taken care of, thanking fans and followers for checking on her and expressing concern after the footage and reports began circulating online.
"I was performing and they handed the controller of a drone to an amateur. That drone was super fast and it came straight at me. That's how my hand got cut so bad. I'm okay now tho got my tetanus injection as well. Thanks for checking up on me," Gill wrote on Instagram.
The carnival was a three-day family-only event in Islamabad, featuring live performances by several well-known artists including Sahir Ali Bagga and Falak Shabbir, with Gill invited as one of the headline performers.
Gill rose to prominence with 'Pasoori', sung with Ali Sethi, which became one of the most streamed Pakistani songs in 2022 with more than 200 million plays on Spotify. She later released her first solo work and collaborated with Abdul Hannan on 'Gila' in April.
The singer told fans she was relieved the injury was not more serious and reiterated that she was doing well after treatment, ending her message by thanking everyone who had reached out with support following the onstage accident.
