Nawaz, Maryam leave for Dubai

PML-N President and former prime minister  Nawaz Sharif, along with his daughter and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, departed for Dubai on Sunday to personally distribute wedding invitations for the upcoming marriage of Junaid Safdar.

The father-daughter duo left their residence in Jati Umra earlier in the day and are scheduled to stay in Dubai for two days. 

Nawaz will meet close relatives and other guests residing in Dubai to formally invite them to the wedding celebrations.

Following the Dubai visit, Nawaz is also expected to travel onward to London. The PML-N president returned to Pakistan in 2023 after a four-year lomg self-exile in the wake of the ouster of Imran Khan government.
