Travis Kelce reveals Taylor Swift’s favourite gift from him on podcast

Travis Kelce has revealed the gift he says became one of Taylor Swift’s favourites, offering a light-hearted insight into their relationship during a recent podcast appearance.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made the admission on Wednesday’s episode of New Heights, speaking with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce. During the conversation, Travis explained that he once bought his fiancée a bread slicer, a present that proved particularly well-received.

The athlete said he chose the gift “because [his partner has] been throwing together so much f**king sourdough”, before joking about the benefits of her baking. “Gosh, I’ve got the best gut health there is. I love you, Tay,” he added.

Jason Kelce praised the choice, noting that something to help with slicing bread “is a big deal”. The retired NFL player expanded on the point, saying, “It is true. One of the unfortunate things with making fresh bread is trying to cut that s**t. It’s hard.” When Kylie suggested that “the hardest part” was “the responsibility to eat it”, Jason disagreed, replying, “That’s the easiest.”

Swift has previously spoken openly about her passion for baking, particularly sourdough. While promoting her album in October, she discussed the hobby during an appearance on BBC Radio 1. “It’s a danger … because I cannot stop talking about bread when I start,” she said. “And it has nothing to do with music.”

The singer later described the extent of her interest, explaining, “The sourdough has taken over my life in a huge way,” and adding, “I’m really talking about bread 60 percent of the time now.”
