Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour both miss 'Stranger Things' event amid injury and feud reports
Brown and Harbour have both withdrawn from a New York 'Stranger Things' event, fuelling renewed speculation

Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour have both pulled out of the same Stranger Things promotional event in New York, a development that has reignited speculation about reported tensions between the two stars.
Brown was due to appear at the Stranger Things: The Final Season Celebration at the Paley Center on December 18 but withdrew because of a recent injury. A spokesperson for the Paley Center said, “Unfortunately, due to a recent injury, Millie can no longer attend the carpet or discussion.” Her absence follows a missed appearance on Good Morning America on December 15.
Addressing that earlier absence in a video message, Brown explained that she had “took a fall” and appeared with her arm in a sling. “Hey, everyone at GMA, I’m really sorry I couldn't be there with you guys, but I wanted to still participate in any way I could,” she said. She later sent a question to co-star Noah Schnapp, joking, “because, you know, Noah, I have to make it about me.”
Harbour was also expected to attend the Paley Center event but will no longer be present. An event spokesperson confirmed that the actor is absent “due to a scheduling conflict.” His withdrawal follows recent reports of erratic behaviour at a California gastropub, though no official connection has been made.
The timing of both absences has drawn attention due to earlier reports suggesting that Brown filed a bullying and harassment complaint against Harbour before production began on season five. According to those reports, an investigation took place and Brown was accompanied by a representative while filming. Neither Brown nor Harbour has publicly addressed the claims.
Despite the reports, the pair appeared together at the Los Angeles premiere of season five volume one last month. Brown later spoke positively about her time on the series, saying, “It's taught me a lot of lessons about being a professional person, about being an actor, about being a friend,” and describing the experience as “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
Other cast members expected at the New York event include Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin and Maya Hawke.
Volume one of Stranger Things season five is now streaming on Netflix, with volume two set to premiere on December 25, followed by the finale on December 31.
