'Pretty Little Liars' stars Lucy Hale and Ian Harding reunite and tease possible new project
Lucy Hale and Ian Harding have reunited publicly for the first time in years, sparking speculation among fans of Pretty Little Liars about a potential new collaboration.
The former co-stars appeared together in a joint Instagram video shared on Wednesday, December 17.
In the clip, Hale adjusts her hair while looking into the camera before Harding steps into frame holding two drinks. He hands her a latte, prompting a brief exchange before they raise their cups. “Cheers,” Harding says, as they take a sip. The pair then smile, lean towards each other and say in unison, “It’s good to be back.”
Neither actor confirmed the reason for the reunion, though the brief clip led to immediate online speculation. Some fans suggested the pair may be filming a Hallmark project, while others wondered whether a continuation or spin-off linked to Pretty Little Liars could be in development.
Hale and Harding starred on the ABC Family drama from 2010 to 2017, portraying Aria Montgomery and Ezra Fitz. Their characters’ age-gap romance, known to fans as “Ezria,” was one of the show’s most talked-about storylines and ultimately concluded with their marriage in the series finale.
Pretty Little Liars was adapted from the book series by Ina Marlene King, who has since noted that any future revisit would require addressing themes that were not widely discussed when the show first aired.
