The Peshawar High Court conducted a hearing on a contempt of court petition related to PTCL employees’ pensions. The bench, comprising Justice Syed Arshad Ali and Justice Muhammad Faheem Wali, addressed concerns over non-compliance with previous court orders.
During the proceedings, Justice Syed Arshad Ali emphasised the limited role of the court at this stage, stating, “Now we can only give our opinion; whether anyone follows it or not is their choice.”
The justice further highlighted the importance of compliance with judicial rulings, noting, “If lawyers themselves do not follow our judgments, then how will anyone else?”
