'The Voice' reveals final two acts advancing to season 28 finale
'The Voice' has announced the last two acts to join the top six for the season 28 finale

The Voice has revealed the last two acts to complete the top six for its season 28 finale. On Monday night, host Carson Daly announced that the contestants receiving the most votes from viewers would advance to the finale.
One of the finalists, a 14-year-old singer from Louisiana, is the youngest remaining contestant this season. The teenager, who portrayed young Michael Jackson in Broadway’s MJ the Musical last year, has impressed the Voice coaches throughout the series.
This contestant was briefly eliminated after the Playoff round when each coach could only select one singer from their teams for the finale, but viewers restored the chance to compete for the title.
The young singer first performed the Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back,” earning chair turns from Michael Buble and Reba McEntire. Later performances included classics such as Stevie Wonder’s “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing” and Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come.” Buble described the contestant as “a front-runner to win The Voice this year,” while Snoop Dogg added, “A star is born.”
Another finalist, a country-pop trio from Nashville, was also briefly eliminated when coach Niall Horan advanced another contestant. The group had previously earned a performance slot in the Rose Parade through The Voice’s “Mic Drop” feature. Their recent rendition of Crosby, Stills and Nash’s “Helplessly Hoping” drew praise from McEntire and Snoop Dogg.
Formed after graduating from Trevecca Nazarene University, the trio began in worship music before performing at festivals and venues across the U.S. They released a single, “Taillights,” earlier this year and selected Horan as their coach. If they win, they would become the second trio in Voice history to be declared champion, following Girl Named Tom in 2021.
The two acts now join the top six for The Voice season 28 finale, airing on December 15 and 16.
