Taylor Swift is reportedly keeping details of her wedding plans closely guarded, with claims that even long-time friend Selena Gomez is not being given updates ahead of the ceremony.
According to a source who spoke with Rob Shuter, Swift has adopted a highly controlled approach to privacy as she prepares to marry NFL player Travis Kelce. The insider alleged that the singer intends to keep all key details secret until shortly before the event, limiting confirmed information to a very small group.
The source claimed that only Swift, Kelce and her parents are fully aware of the wedding location and final arrangements. Others in her inner circle, including Gomez, are said to be receiving only vague hints rather than specific details. The intention, according to the report, is for all invited guests to receive the same information at the same time.
The insider described Swift’s aim for the wedding as “intimate” and “controlled,” with precautions in place to prevent leaks or unexpected attention. Another source alleged that venues associated with the celebration are operating under strict nondisclosure agreements, with the possibility of last-minute changes if privacy is compromised. The wedding was described as being handled like a “top-secret project.”
Despite the lack of confirmed details, separate reports suggest Gomez remains involved in pre-wedding celebrations. An insider speaking to The U.S. Sun claimed that Gomez has been helping plan Swift’s bachelorette events.
The source said Swift’s bridal party, rumoured to include Gomez, Gigi Hadid and close family members, has discussed several potential destinations, including New York, Nashville, Italy and the Bahamas.
The same source alleged that Gomez, who married Benny Blanco earlier this year, has been offering advice based on her recent experience. Planning discussions are said to be taking place through calls and messages, with possible in-person meetings expected in major cities in the coming months.
Neither Swift nor Gomez has commented publicly on the reports.
