Madonna and Guy Ritchie have reunited publicly for the first time in 17 years to support their son Rocco Ritchie at the opening of his latest art exhibition in London.

The former couple appeared together at the show after Rocco shared photographs on Instagram of himself posing with his parents in front of two artworks. In the caption, he reflected on both the scrutiny he faces and the significance of their joint appearance. “It’s obvious why some people might hold judgement against me, I don’t blame them,” he wrote. “However, I am proud to be who I am, but I’m even prouder to have both of my parents together in one room supporting me. The work should speak for itself, that’s why the show was called Talk Is Cheap.”

The exhibition, titled Talk Is Cheap, features work by Rocco Ritchie and fellow artist Tony Cassanelli. It is currently open to the public at The Painting Room in London, marking a notable moment of family unity after years of distance.
