Lady Gaga briefly halted her Mayhem Ball Tour concert in Sydney on December 13 after one of her dancers slipped and fell off the stage during a performance.
Footage shared on social media showed the singer stopping the music mid-song to check on the dancer’s well-being.
Videos posted by fans on X and TikTok captured the moment Gaga interrupted her performance of “Garden of Eden” after the dancer lost his footing on a rain-slick stage.
She was seen running to the edge of the stage and instructing production to stop the show as the lights dimmed and the music cut off.
Addressing the audience, she said, “Just one second,” before asking the dancer, “Are you okay?” She then told fans, “We just had an accident on stage. Everything’s okay, just everyone wait a second, please.”
Gaga appeared to crouch down to speak with the dancer and later embraced him before returning to the stage to resume the concert once the situation was assessed. The dancer was later identified as Michael Dameski.
Dameski later reassured fans by sharing a video on his Instagram Stories, where he wrote, “Hey everyone, I’m ok. Thank you for checking. Happy I was able to finish the last show of the year!” He also reposted a clip showing himself returning to the stage to complete the performance, adding the message, “The show must go on.”
The Sydney concert was part of Gaga’s Mayhem Ball Tour, which launched earlier this year in Las Vegas and has included dates across North America and Europe.
The singer announced in September that the tour would expand in 2026, adding further cities and rescheduled shows.
