‘Euphoria’ season 3 preview gives fans a new look at returning characters

HBO Max has released new footage from Euphoria season 3, offering the first substantial glimpse at the long-awaited return of the Emmy-winning series ahead of its April premiere.

The footage appears in a montage promoting upcoming HBO and HBO Max titles and features brief scenes centered on Zendaya’s Rue. In the teaser, Rue is shown dancing at a party, sitting alone in a church, and running down a street, while voiceover dialogue hints at reflection and uncertainty after high school.

Additional shots highlight familiar faces across the ensemble cast. Lexi (Maude Apatow) appears at a formal event, Maddy (Alexa Demie) is seen doing her makeup, Nate (Jacob Elordi) dances in front of a television, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) wears an animal costume, and Jules (Hunter Schafer) leans back against a seat. The montage also introduces moments with new, unnamed characters, signaling expanded storylines this season.

HBO previously confirmed that more than a dozen new cast members will join season 3, including Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Trisha Paytas, and Eli Roth. New episodes of Euphoria are set to premiere in April.
