Shiv Sena opposes Anna Hazare's plan to visit Pakistan

HT quoted Raut saying “Shiv Sena is of the opinion that no one should have any relations with Pakistan.”

MUMBAI:
India’s right wing political party, Shiv Sena has strongly opposed Anna Hazare’s plan to visit Pakistan on invitation of a two-member Pakistani delegation, Hindustan Times (HT) reported on Thursday.

Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that "Anna should have told the delegation that they should tell Pakistan to stop terrorism."


HT quoted Raut saying “Shiv Sena is of the opinion that no one should have any relations with Pakistan.”

A Pakistani delegation, comprising of former Supreme Court judge Justice Nasir Aslam Zahid and eminent peace activist Karamat Ali invited Hazare to visit Pakistan.

Anna Hazare said he would visit Pakistan if his “visit is going to help the anti-corruption movement there.”
