ALLDAY PROJECT faces backlash over conduct at 2025 Asia Artist Awards
ALLDAY PROJECT is facing mounting criticism following their conduct at the 2025 Asia Artist Awards, where a viral post accused the rookie group of behaviour described as “unprofessional” and “disrespectful”.
The backlash centres on several incidents captured during the ceremony, including members sitting with their feet up and placing their shoes on seats subsequently used by other artists.
One widely shared photo showed Woochan sitting with his feet raised on a chair during the event, prompting comments such as “Why is Woochan sitting like this at an awards ceremony?” Another video recorded the group being asked to make a finger heart gesture while exiting the venue. While Annie, Youngseo and Bailey responded with smiles and gestures, Tarzzan and Woochan remained unresponsive.
The reaction from both Korean and international fans has been mixed but intense. Some posts singled out the male members while others expressed concern over what they perceived as a pattern of missteps, writing, “The controversies around this group are constant,” and “They seem to be completely consumed by their own concept.”
At the same time, fans also defended the female members and highlighted Annie’s positive interactions with supporters. Comments ranged from “The female members are all great” to “Surprisingly, Annie is the one with the strongest idol presence.”
While some argue that the criticism has become excessive, others maintain that basic etiquette should be expected of any artist, especially during high-profile industry events. The debate continues as the group navigates the scrutiny often placed on newly debuted acts.
