HBO’s hit teen drama Euphoria is set to return for Season 3 in April, more than four years after the Season 2 finale.

Creator Sam Levinson provided a first look at the upcoming episodes, revealing updates on the show’s central characters and introducing new cast members.

Most of the original ensemble, including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, and Colman Domingo, are returning. Other familiar faces include Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, and Nika King. New additions to the series include Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, and Marshawn Lynch, among others.

Levinson offered insight into the storylines, noting that Rue (Zendaya) is in Mexico, navigating debt and trying to find creative ways to repay it. Cassie (Sweeney) and Nate (Elordi) are engaged and living in the suburbs, while Cassie struggles with social media pressures. Levinson confirmed, “Cassie and Nate do in fact get married,” promising it will be a memorable event.

Other characters’ paths include Jules (Schafer) attending art school and grappling with career uncertainty, Maddy (Demie) working in Hollywood at a talent agency, and Lexi (Apatow) serving as an assistant to a showrunner played by Stone. Some previous cast members, such as Austin Abrams, Algee Smith, Storm Reid, and Barbie Ferreira, will not return, while Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, passed away in 2023.

Euphoria continues to explore themes of teen drug addiction, relationships, and betrayal, maintaining its reputation as one of HBO’s most-watched non-fantasy series. Season 3 promises to expand on the drama while introducing new dynamics, keeping fans engaged in the intense world of its characters.
