Backstreet Boys have sparked widespread fan speculation after posting a playful cruise-themed countdown video without revealing what the teaser is leading to.

The Instagram clip features AJ McLean in front of a German cruise-style backdrop, jokingly pretending to sail as he declares, “The countdown is on!”

Additional responses included, “Ohhhh those teasing videos again,” and, “OMG. A such announcement… Again.. For sure its for something HUGE.” Some fans wondered if the countdown could be linked to a new event, asking, “Is this for the second leg at Sphere? Is it new music? Whaaat?? Hahaha.”

The teaser arrives during a period of significant activity for the group.
