Neil Patrick Harris reacted with humour and confusion after appearing heavily edited in a selfie shared by Abby Lee Miller on Instagram.

The actor, currently starring in the Broadway revival of Art, commented directly on Miller’s post to question why his face looked noticeably altered.

Miller included the selfie in a series of photos posted on Tuesday after she attended a performance of Art. She also shared photos with James Corden and Bobby Cannavale, whose images did not appear to be affected by the same filter.

Harris was not the only one to notice the unexpected edit. Fans quickly filled the comment section with remarks about his “yassified” appearance, including one user referring to him as “Neil paintbrush Harris.”

Several commenters suggested that Miller may have used FaceTune to retouch her own features, inadvertently altering Harris’ face as well.

The app was mentioned so frequently that its official Instagram account appeared in the comments, writing, “Abby let me proof read your post next time baby goregous.”
