Netflix’s new docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning brings together a wide range of voices reflecting on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ career, controversies and the allegations that have intensified in recent years.

Among those featured is former Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day, whose account adds another layer to the series’ examination of the music mogul.

O’Day says that during her time under Combs’ leadership, she received a series of sexually explicit emails that she believes crossed professional boundaries.

According to the documentary, the messages included graphic descriptions and demands, which she says made her feel pressured and unsafe in a workplace where Combs had direct control over her future.

She adds that months after refusing to entertain the messages, she was removed from Danity Kane, a decision she believes was tied to her rejection of his alleged advances.

Her claims appear alongside interviews with former Bad Boy artists, ex-employees, alleged victims and jurors involved in Combs’ 2024 criminal case.

The four-part series also features behind-the-scenes footage of Combs ahead of his arrest, offering a broader look at the period leading up to his legal troubles.

Combs has strongly criticized the docuseries, calling it a “hit piece” and accusing Netflix of sensationalism and using footage he intended to release independently.

The filmmakers, however, insist the material was obtained lawfully and that the series aims to explore public idolization and accountability within celebrity culture.

O’Day, who has spoken before about her fraught history with Combs, says she hopes sharing her experience will underscore what she believes were long-standing issues behind the scenes of his empire.
