Ballerini replied truthfully saying, "thank you for saying this and asking. I'm in a steady and happy place right now, truly excited for this Australia tour and the holidays."

The six-time Grammy nominee proceeded to ask her followers to respect her privacy.

She said, "If I had one favour, it would be honouring that I'm trying to make my personal life personal for now, unless it comes from me, it's not from me, and that is really important in protecting my peace right now."

Recently, it was reported that Ballerini and Stokes had revived their relationship after the two were reportedly seen together "holding hands at the table and talking closely" at a restaurant in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

The speculation gained momentum after they were spotted together near Edinburgh Castle in Scotland in October.

However, Stokes alluded to a second split in a series of social media posts in November.

He wrote, "I’m blocked, I did nothing wrong. Sorry. I tried." followed by "I’m sorry for those who believed in us. It is what it is. Onwards and upwards."

According to one source, Stokes is "heartbroken" that he and Ballerini had reportedly broken up again while another told People, "They’re two adults who gave it their all and tried to do everything they could to make it work, but ultimately couldn’t. It happens."
