Ella’s appearance drew particular interest because she is the great-great-granddaughter of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. Her family line traces back through Jinnah’s daughter Dina, who married Neville Wadia.

Their son Nusli Wadia became chairman of the Wadia Group, and his son Jehangir Wadia is Ella’s father.

At Le Bal des Débutantes 2025, Ella wore an Elie Saab gown featuring intricate embellishments and a structured strapless silhouette. Her look stood out in the traditional setting of the ball, which has showcased debutantes from notable families since 1958.

The event’s 2025 roster included Carolina Lansing, Isabelle d'Orleans, Lady Araminta Spencer-Churchill, Jillian Chan, Eulalia de Orleans-Borbon, Almudena Dailly de Orleans, Isabelle von Perfall, Ruby Kemper, Carolina Lansing, Alice Wang, Sarah Bae, Eugenia of Hohenzollern, Bronwyn Vance, Reagan Sacks, Josephine Haas, Eliza Lindroth, Alexandra Moxey, and Eirini Zarifi.
