Aisam bows out of his last professional event with a loss in ATP Challenger final in Islamabad

Aisam was paired with Muzammil Murtaza in the doubles event

ISLAMABAD:

In the thrilling final of the ATP Challengers Cup doubles competition, Pakistani pair Aisam-ul-Haq and Muzammil Mortaza faced defeat after a tough match. 

The 2010 US Open finalist Aisam-ul-Haq could not win his last match in his professional career but he gave his all on the court.

For the first time in history, the ATP Challenger Cup was held in Pakistan and the Pakistani pair's access to the men's doubles was very impressive. 

In the doubles final of the event being held at the PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad, Dominik Plan of the Czech Republic and Denis Evsev of Kazakhstan showed a brilliant performance and won the final (3) 6-7 and 4-6.

With the end of the doubles event, Pakistan's famous tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq has also retired from the international tennis circuit, on which tennis fans paid tribute to him in a magnificent way. Finally, the Patron-in-Chief of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, Saleem 

Saifullah Khan, along with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, distributed prizes among the players. 

It should be noted that Pakistan is participating in the ATP Challengers Cup for the first time. is hosting, which is being described as an important milestone for the country's tennis. The final of the singles competitions of the ATP Challengers Cup will be played on Sunday.
