Princess Love has spoken publicly for the first time following an alleged gun incident involving Ray J that unfolded during the early hours of Thanksgiving and resulted in a police response.
The confrontation was initially captured on a livestream published by TMZ, which reported that officers were called to Ray J’s Los Angeles home around 4 am for a possible domestic violence situation.
The livestream appeared to show Ray J loading a firearm while stating he would use it if anyone attempted to enter the property. Audio from the broadcast reportedly included raised voices, children crying and police sirens before the feed abruptly ended.
Addressing the events, Princess Love firmly rejected Ray J’s suggestion that alcohol was involved. “I’m not going to let him deflect and make it about me, or make it seem like I was drunk. That was not the case,” she said.
Ray J disputed her account, alleging instead that Princess tried to remove the children late at night when, according to him, everyone had been drinking. He claimed that a man entered his bedroom and attempted to take the children while they were sleeping, leading to what he described as a defensive reaction. Ray J said he called police himself, maintaining he was protecting his family and his home.
The livestream reportedly began with Ray J calling it “the worst Thanksgiving in the world.” Police have not released further details, and the situation remains under investigation.
