Millie Bobby Brown has spoken about her working relationship with David Harbour following a viral report that alleged she had accused her Stranger Things co-star of bullying on set. The actor addressed the speculation while reflecting on their long-running partnership as the series approaches its conclusion.

Earlier in November, Brown and Harbour appeared together at the season five world premiere in Los Angeles, where they posed for photographs and interacted warmly. The appearance drew attention online, as the report had claimed Brown, 21, filed a harassment and bullying complaint against Harbour, 50, before filming began on the final season.

The report alleged “pages of pages” of claims, though it did not detail specific accusations and stated that no sexual impropriety was alleged. It also stated that Netflix conducted an internal investigation, said to have lasted months, and that Brown was accompanied by a personal representative during filming. Netflix has not commented publicly on the claims.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Brown said showing unity with Harbour was not new for them. “We’ve been doing that for the last 10 years,” she said. “I mean, we have always been united in that. We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything.”

Season five sees Brown’s character Eleven and Harbour’s character Hopper sharing significant screen time after being separated for much of the fourth season. Brown said it felt “so nice” and “really exciting” to work closely with Harbour again and described the experience as nostalgic, noting that it brought back elements of their earlier character dynamic.

At the Los Angeles premiere, the series’ creators, the Duffer Brothers, were asked about the claims but said they could not discuss personal matters, while emphasising the importance of a safe set. Director and executive producer Shawn Levy similarly said the production prioritised a respectful and supportive working environment.
