Most parts of Pakistan are expected to experience cold and dry weather over the next 12 hours, with hilly regions likely to remain very cold as winter sets in, meteorological officials have warned.

Officials also cautioned that smog and shallow fog patches may develop in some plain areas of Punjab.

This morning, minimum temperatures reflected a significant drop across major cities. Islamabad and Peshawar recorded 8°C, Lahore 14°C, and Karachi 17°C.
