Quadcopter fires shell on wedding party, injures eight in K-P's Khyber district

A drone helicopter fired shells on a wedding party in Khyber District, injuring eight people, including children.

According to local police, the attack took place at around 1am in Shalobar, a locality in the Tirah Valley. The injured were rushed to Peshawar for medical aid.

Police and intelligence agencies have launched an investigation into the incident.

Authorities said the area has an alarming presence of outlaws, and intelligence-based operations are conducted periodically against them.
