Sharon Osbourne became emotional as she played a voicemail from Donald Trump offering condolences following the death of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, during a recent episode of The Osbournes podcast.

The television personality revealed that the former US president had personally reached out after the Black Sabbath frontman died in July at age 76.

Trump said in his message: “Hi, Sharon. It's Donald Trump, and I just wanted to wish you the best and the family. Ozzy was amazing. He was an amazing guy. I met him a few times and I wanna tell you he was unique in every way and talented. So I just wanted to wish you the best and it’s a tough thing, I know how close you were, and whatever I can do. Take care of yourself, say hello to the family. Thanks, bye.”

Sharon explained that she met Trump while competing on Celebrity Apprentice in 2010 and described both him and his wife, Melania, as “gracious” and “respectful.” She noted, “All I know is he has treated me with respect, your father with respect. He wanted nothing from us. Nothing. Melania, the same, nothing.”

Her son, Jack Osbourne, praised the gesture, saying, “Love him or hate him, he didn't have to call and leave a voicemail.”

The family also received a letter of condolence from King Charles, which Sharon described as heartfelt, calling the monarch “an amazing person” who “cares about many, many, many things.”

Ozzy Osbourne, who had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2020, passed away in July after suffering a heart attack. His family continues to honour his memory through their podcast.
