Newly released emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s archives have reignited controversy surrounding his alleged connections with former President Donald Trump.

The emails, disclosed in a 23,000-page document dump by the House Oversight Committee, reportedly reference Trump spending hours with an alleged underage victim at Epstein’s home — a claim the White House strongly denies.

In one December 2015 exchange, author Michael Wolff informed Epstein that CNN planned to ask Trump about his relationship with the disgraced financier. Epstein replied, “If we were able to craft an answer for him, what do you think it should be?” Wolff responded, “I think you should let him hang himself. If he says he hasn’t been on the plane or to the house, that gives you valuable PR and political currency.”

Another email from April 2011 — marked “high importance” — had Epstein writing to Ghislaine Maxwell, saying, “[Victim redacted] spent hours at my house with him… he has never once been mentioned.” Maxwell responded, “I have been thinking about that…” contradicting earlier claims she made to federal authorities that Trump never acted inappropriately in her presence.

The White House quickly dismissed the reports, calling them “bad-faith efforts to distract from President Trump’s historic accomplishments.” Officials also stated that the victim referenced was the late Virginia Giuffre, who previously said Trump “was not involved in any wrongdoing whatsoever.”

The latest release of Epstein’s emails comes as the House of Representatives prepares to vote on a petition urging the Department of Justice to release all remaining Epstein files, amid renewed scrutiny of the late financier’s powerful social circle.
