A new photo of Sean “Diddy” Combs taken during his arrival at Fort Dix on October 30th has been released by CBS News, showing the rapper and producer sporting grey hair and a beard.

The image marks the start of his four-year and two-month prison sentence, which he is serving at the New Jersey facility.

Diddy’s sentence follows his conviction earlier this year on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted on the more severe racketeering and sex trafficking charges. Following sentencing, Diddy requested a transfer to Fort Dix, citing the facility’s drug treatment and rehabilitation programme. He had been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn for nearly a year prior to the move.

According to his publicist, Juda Engelmayer, Diddy has already begun work inside the prison. “He works in the chapel library, where he describes the environment as warm, respectful, and rewarding,” she told CBS News.

Despite the seemingly smooth transition, Diddy recently breached prison protocol after joining a three-person phone call, which he claimed was with his legal team regarding a statement to The New York Times. He later said he was unaware of the rule prohibiting group calls, and officials have since issued a warning.
