Max B reunites with French Montana after completing 16-year prison sentence

Charley Wingate, who goes by the name Max B, was released from prison after serving more than a decade in jail. He was welcomed by his loved ones including rapper French Montana as the two hugged each other for a long time after reuniting.
Montana, who had his birthday on Sunday, posted a video of the Harlem rapper's release showing him meeting his family and friends. The two rappers also shared a wholesome moment, as they embraced for a long time while exchanging words.
Fans also celebrated occasion and welcomed the rapper home under Montana's post.
Max B's prison sentence in 2009 was 75 years originally but it was altered to 20 years after he pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter. The rapper was allegedly embroiled in a botched New Jersey robbery that turned into murder.
He announced his release on the Joe Budden podcast last December when he called in and revealed that he would be released on November 9.
"I’m feeling righteous, man. I’m doing all right. This is almost over. … Wavy Baby coming home real soon", he said.
Max B also announced his comeback to music and is reportedly set to start touring next year.
He stated, "I’m working. I can’t wait to get re-acclimated. You already know I’m a musical genius myself, so n----s gotta get re-acclimated with my shit. It’s a challenge. I love a good challenge. … I’m the trendsetter."
