'Sangam Gala' bolsters Pakistan-China ties

The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Pakistan hosted the Sangam Gala 2025, an event aimed at strengthening ties between communities and fostering deeper China-Pakistan cooperation.
The gathering was attended by Jiang Zaidong, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan; Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Federal Minister for Investment; and Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Chairman of the Pakistan-China Institute.
The event brought together representatives from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan, encompassing participants from diverse sectors — including government, political parties, religious communities, think tanks, and media — and across all age groups.
Throughout the sessions, participants engaged in wide-ranging discussions, sharing insights into the development trajectories of their respective countries, recounting heartening stories of China-Pakistan friendship, and exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation. Both sides agreed that the ongoing modernisation efforts in China and Pakistan have created extensive opportunities for future collaboration.
In particular, China's 15th Five-Year Plan — centred on building a community with a shared future for mankind.
