'Musical Cultural Evening' marks Tree Plantation Day

Event celebrats harmony between culture, nature through universal language of music, dance

The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) hosted a vibrant "Musical Cultural Evening" at its premises in Islamabad to commemorate Tree Plantation Day 2025.

The event brought together senior government officials, ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from numerous countries, symbolising a shared commitment to environmental preservation, cultural diplomacy and artistic collaboration.

The event celebrated the harmony between culture and nature through the universal language of music and dance, highlighting the power of the arts to inspire environmental awareness and social responsibility.

The evening featured a captivating lineup of performances, including traditional santoor and violin recitals, as well as rabab and medley dance presentations.

The performances beautifully combined Pakistan's regional melodies, classical rhythms and folk expressions — illustrating the country's rich cultural heritage while conveying a message of ecological harmony.

Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives expressed their deep appreciation for the performances and the event's theme.
