Mizkif files defamation lawsuit against Emiru, Asmongold and OTK after assault allegations
Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo has filed a defamation lawsuit against Emily Beth “Emiru” Schunk, Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt, their former organisation One True King (OTK), and related entities, following allegations of sexual assault and abuse.
Emiru made the accusations during an October 25 Twitch stream, claiming Mizkif had committed sexual assault, stalking, and domestic abuse while they were living together in Texas. She also said she was seeking a restraining order.
Mizkif later went live to present his side of the story, denying the allegations. Shortly after, OTK, the organisation he co-founded, announced that any relationship with Mizkif had already been “terminated some time ago.” Asmongold and other creators associated with OTK publicly commented on the matter, drawing widespread attention across the streaming community.
According to court filings obtained by KXAN, Mizkif’s lawsuit claims the statements made by Emiru and supported by others were false and “caused significant harm to his reputation and career.” The suit alleges that Emiru, Asmongold, and OTK “wrongfully and baselessly accused Rinaudo of serious criminal activity for no purpose other than to harm him, his reputation, and his business.”
The filing also disputes claims of contractual breaches involving OTK, Mythic Talent Management, and King Gaming Labs, which together allege Mizkif owes over $896,000 in fees. It further claims the organisations did not seek comment from Mizkif before ending their contracts.
While no specific damages amount has been made public, Mizkif is reportedly seeking compensation for reputational harm, lost earnings, and emotional distress. Neither Emiru nor Mizkif has commented since their last broadcasts, and Asmongold has yet to issue a public response.
