Nullah victims protest

Affected residents of the Gujjar, Mehmoodabad, and Orangi Nullah operations staged a protest outside the Supreme Court Karachi Registry over the government's failure to provide promised alternative housing. They demanded "house for house" compensation as assured by the Supreme Court and the Sindh govt.

Protesters said thousands of homes were demolished during the nullah reconstruction drives.
