World Peace Day: Peace rally calls for tolerance
A large peace rally was taken out in the district to mark World Peace Day on Wednesday

A large peace rally was taken out in the district to mark World Peace Day on Wednesday. A large number of women and children took part in the event and MNA Khalida Mansoor led the rally. The rally started from Zilla Council Chowk and reached Katchery Bazaar Chowk by noon. The participants were carrying banners and placards inscribed with pro-peace slogans. The participants said society was plagued by anarchy due to lack of tolerance and that all means should be utilised to make Pakistan a peaceful nation, which was tolerant of diversity.
