Sean “Diddy” Combs appears to be adjusting to life behind bars.

New photos obtained by TMZ show the music mogul smiling and chatting with fellow inmates in the prison yard at Fort Dix, the low-security facility in New Jersey where he is currently serving his sentence.

In the images, Diddy is seen wearing a dark blue winter coat, gray pants, and a gray beanie while laughing and talking with other prisoners. One photo even shows him shaking hands, suggesting he’s making acquaintances on the inside. According to TMZ, the atmosphere seemed relaxed, with no signs of tension among the group.

The latest pictures follow an earlier photo released last week, showing Diddy in a bright orange beanie and appearing more subdued. The new set paints a different picture — one of the rapper and producer seemingly adapting to his environment.

Diddy’s transfer to Fort Dix earlier this week was reportedly a positive development for him, as he had requested to serve his sentence there. Fort Dix is known for its low-security setup and rehabilitation-focused programs. The Bad Boy Records founder was convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act, which prohibits the transportation of individuals across state lines for illegal sexual activity.

Reports also indicate that Diddy has already been assigned a prison job in the laundry unit, giving him some structure and routine during his sentence. His lawyer, Mark Geragos, recently shared on the 2 Angry Men podcast that he was initially concerned about Diddy’s well-being, but the photos suggest he’s doing “alright so far.”
