NASA responds to Kim Kardashian’s moon landing doubts, confirming six successful lunar missions

NASA has issued a response to Kim Kardashian after she suggested during an episode of The Kardashians that the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing was faked.
The reality television star’s comments reignited long-standing conspiracy theories about one of history’s most documented space achievements.
NASA acting administrator Sean Duffy addressed the remarks directly on X, writing, “Yes, we’ve been to the Moon before… 6 times!”

🎥: Hulu pic.twitter.com/CkexEEPFSvHe tagged Kardashian in the post and went on to reference the agency’s current Artemis programme, which aims to return astronauts to the lunar surface under the direction of President Donald Trump. “We won the last space race and we will win this one too,” Duffy added.
In the episode aired on Thursday, Kardashian was seen on the set of her upcoming legal drama All’s Fair, debating with co-star Sarah Paulson about whether the moon landing was genuine. “I’m sending you a million articles with both Buzz Aldrin and the other one,” Kardashian said, referring to the Apollo 11 astronauts.
She later added, “I don’t think we did. I think it was fake. I’ve seen a few videos on Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn’t happen.”
When pressed by producers during a confessional segment, Kardashian reiterated her disbelief, claiming she frequently explores conspiracy theories online.
