Rockstar Games has unveiled a redesigned version of its official website, featuring a refreshed carousel-style layout and updated game logos. The change has reignited speculation that a third Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer could arrive before the 2025 holiday season.
The update prominently showcases a new Grand Theft Auto 6 logo, which fans have linked to a potential promotional push ahead of the game’s confirmed release on May 26 2026. The developer last released a trailer earlier this year, with the first preview having debuted in December 2023.
The timing of this website overhaul has therefore prompted renewed discussion about Rockstar’s marketing schedule for the highly anticipated title.
Reports from industry outlets suggest that Sony has secured exclusive marketing rights for GTA 6 across the PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro. The agreement could see the next trailer or major promotional campaign feature prominently during the holiday season, positioning the game for a significant global marketing rollout. Analysts expect the PlayStation versions to play a central role in the game’s pre-launch visibility.
Rockstar’s decision to update its online presence comes just months before its largest planned release to date. Industry projections suggest that Grand Theft Auto 6 could generate over $2.7 billion in sales on its first day, potentially surpassing major entertainment franchises in overall launch revenue.
While Microsoft’s Xbox platform will also receive the game, sources indicate that the PlayStation editions will receive the bulk of marketing exposure. This could influence console sales momentum during the holiday period, marking a critical marketing phase ahead of 2026.
For now, Rockstar has not commented on whether a third trailer is imminent. However, with one Christmas remaining before release, fans continue to anticipate the studio’s next major update for what is expected to be one of gaming’s largest launches.
