K-P lists 1,349 terrorists with bounties up to Rs30m

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) has compiled a list of high profile terrorists operating in the province with the help of intelligence agencies and submitted it to the federal Ministry of Interior.

The document includes the details of 1,349 terrorists, with bounties set on their heads. According to the list, 59 terrorists carry rewards ranging from Rs10 million to Rs30 million.

A bounty of Rs30 million has been placed on Kazim Khan from Kurram. Commander Amjadullah, another key militant leader, carries a bounty of 20 million rupees.

The notorious Maulvi Faqir Muhammad from Bajaur is also listed, with a bounty of Rs15 million.

The wanted individuals are said to have links to Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Swat, and several other regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The K-P has been worst affected by terrorsim since 2001 when the US invaded Afghanistan after 9/11 attacks. This month Pakistan and Afghanistan engaged in a brief but intense confrontation as the former accused the latter of harboring terrorists.
