Maulana Khabir meets Pope Leo at Vatican

Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, met with Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican during a global interfaith gathering, his Media Office stated on Thursday.

The meeting, which included religious scholars, clerics, and leaders from various faiths, focused on promoting global peace and interfaith harmony.

on the occasion, Maulana Khabir Azad, who is also the Khateeb of Lahore's Badshahi Mosque and an Ambassador of Peace, emphasised that interfaith harmony is an urgent necessity. "Through dialogue, we can lead the world toward peace," he stated.
