SWABI:

A key meeting was held between Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Member of the National Assembly and head of the Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aeen Pakistan, and former National Assembly Speaker and PTI leader Asad Qaiser, who also serves as the movement's Secretary General.

During the late-night meeting, Asad Qaiser briefed Achakzai in detail about his recent discussions with JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and took him into confidence on political developments.

Both leaders expressed deep concern over the failure of the Istanbul talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan, stressing that all bilateral issues, particularly those related to security, should be resolved through peaceful dialogue. They noted that conflict and confrontation cannot address the challenges faced by either country.

Achakzai voiced full support for the establishment of a peace Jirga in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, assuring that Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aeen Pakistan would actively participate in it. He also announced that the movement would hold a series of public gatherings across the country in November, the schedule for which has been finalized.

The two leaders strongly condemned the solitary confinement of PTI founder Imran Khan, demanding the immediate restoration of his constitutional rights and his release from isolation.

Reiterating their joint stance, Achakzai and Qaiser emphasized the urgent need to ensure complete constitutional supremacy in the country and equal participation of all political parties in the national democratic process.
