Rapper and television producer 50 Cent has reignited his ongoing feud with actor Lil Meech following the cancellation of the Starz series BMF after four seasons. The Power creator took to Instagram to mock the 25-year-old actor, posting a photo of him holding an “out of work” sign and writing in the caption, “What next season little [ninja emoji].”

The post comes shortly after reports confirmed that BMF, a series inspired by the rise and fall of the Black Mafia Family, would not return for a fifth season. 50 Cent, who originally developed and executive produced the show, has maintained a contentious relationship with both Lil Meech and his father, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory Sr.

Their public fallout began earlier this year after Big Meech invited rapper Rick Ross — a longtime rival of 50 Cent — to perform at his welcome home concert following his release from prison. According to USA TODAY Network reporting, this decision reportedly angered 50 Cent, who responded with a series of critical posts on social media.

Lil Meech later attempted to deescalate tensions, sharing messages in which he reminded 50 Cent of his loyalty and expressed disbelief over the hostility. “I can’t believe this man. U act as if I’m your enemy, I’ve only showed u love,” he wrote in a text exchange that 50 Cent later publicized.

However, the dispute escalated when 50 Cent publicly accused Lil Meech of drug use on the BMF set, claiming co-star Russell Hornsby and other crew members noticed troubling behavior. “He started throwing up at a weapons test,” 50 alleged in one post. He also claimed he intervened to send a mutual acquaintance, MeMe, to rehab, further fueling controversy surrounding the show’s production.

As of publication, Lil Meech has not responded to 50 Cent’s latest remarks. The cancellation of BMF marks the end of one of Starz’s most popular crime dramas, which had been praised for dramatizing the real-life exploits of the Black Mafia Family and its founders.
