Chris Evans and Alba Baptista are celebrating a new chapter as parents, with the name of their newborn daughter now revealed.

The Captain America actor, 44, and the Borderline star, 28, welcomed their first child together on Friday, October 24, in Massachusetts. A source confirms to PEOPLE that the couple have named their daughter Alma Grace Baptista Evans.

“They’re enjoying their privacy and these special first few days as a family with their baby,” the insider shared, noting that both mother and child are doing well.

Evans and Baptista, who tied the knot in September 2023, have kept their relationship largely out of the public eye. The pair were first linked in early 2022 and married in an intimate ceremony held at a private estate in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, according to PEOPLE.

Before meeting Baptista, Evans often spoke about his desire to start a family.
