Pak, Azerbaijan to boost parliamentary ties

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan and Azerbaijan on Tuesday reaffirmed their resolve to enhance cooperation through regular parliamentary exchanges, mutual visits, and joint initiatives to promote sustainable development, regional stability, and stronger people-to-people ties.

The understanding was reached during a meeting between Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani and Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova, held on the sidelines of the International Parliamentary Conference marking the 30th anniversary of the country's Constitution, according to a statement.
