DDG and Halle Bailey drop restraining orders, agree on child custody plan

DDG and Halle Bailey drop domestic violence restraining orders and agree on custody for their son Halo

Rapper DDG and actress-singer Halle Bailey have officially dropped their domestic violence restraining orders against each other and reached a temporary custody agreement for their 1-year-old son, Halo.

According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, both parties signed a stipulation agreeing to dismiss their respective DVRO (Domestic Violence Restraining Order) requests, marking a significant step toward reconciliation. While the pair reserved the right to refile in the event of future incidents, the move indicates an effort to move forward peacefully after months of legal tension.

The filing also outlines a temporary custody plan giving DDG custody on Wednesdays and select weekends, along with a shared holiday schedule — beginning with Halloween. This arrangement ensures both parents can spend time with Halo during major events and holidays.

Sources say this agreement represents major progress for the former couple, who split in October 2024 after a turbulent year marked by public disputes and court filings. The order also includes a non-disparagement clause, preventing either parent from speaking negatively about the other in public or sharing images of Halo on social media — a major point of contention in previous disagreements.

Earlier this month, DDG appeared to extend an olive branch through his emotional song “17 More Years,” where he praised Halle’s parenting and expressed his wish to end their conflicts.

Now, with this new custody plan in place, it seems the exes are focused on co-parenting peacefully and prioritizing their son’s well-being.

Neither Halle Bailey nor DDG has publicly commented on the court’s latest decision.
